Maria's Teaching Credentials

Maria has been teaching golf to students of all ages for 18 years. She has received many accolades acknowledging her as one of the top golfing instructors in the midwest. These include:

• Maria has been selected as a One of the Top 50 LPGA Teachers in the world from 2008-2012
• Maria has been chosen as the LPGA Midwest Section Teacher of the Year from 2008 & 2011
• Golf Digest selected Maria as a Top 10 Teacher in the State of Illinois in 2007-2008
• Golf Magazine selected Maria as a Top Teacher in the Midwest from 2005-2008
• Maria founded the St. Louis Women's Golf Academy and the Naked Golf Academy
• Maria starred in an infomercial for Golf's MVP which was shown on the Golf Channel and numerous cable channels
• Maria has been a regular guest instructor on PGA Tour Net-work XM Satellite radio with Peter Kessler
• Maria was a co-host for Avid Magazine Golf Weekly radio show on 590AM
• Maria was a writer for Avid Magazine
• Maria is a Certified Golf Psych Instructor, Certified Advantage Golf Fitness Instructor and Certified Club Fitter
• Maria was the former Director of Instruction for The Michael Jordan Golf Center and the Midwest Golf Lab
• Maria runs the St. Louis West County Chapter of the LPGA-USGAQ Girls Golf Club

Maria's Playing Career Credentials

Maria was an accomplished golfer at St. Joseph's Academy in high school and then at the University of South Alabama. She also competed in LPGA Tour events including a major! Maria's golfing accomplishments include:

• Winning the 2002 Illinois Open
• Finishing 3rd at the 2007 Illinois Open
• A 2000 LPGA Championship Qualifier
• From 1999-2002 Maria participated in LPGA Tour Events
• Maria won the 1999 LPGA Midwest Section Championship
• Maria won the 1993 Missouri State Amateur
• Maria was a 1993 All-Sunbelt Conference Player
• Maria was the 1992-1993 St. Louis District Champion
